The Days 05:27
Time got the best of me again Stabbed in the back by my old friend again Look out at another setting sun What makes you think this isn't the very last one? Oracles and tales of folklore We were warned of these days Hey man, can't you see what I am? Hunting cheese in an endeless maze Think back to what we used to keep Remembering times when talk was cheap Look back towards another rising sun Seems we're no further from where we begun Let me out Get me out I can't make it on my own We can't pinpoint where things went wrong Maybe this was our fate all along Who gets the blame this time, my friend? Won't have a chance to begin again These are the days

Warlords 03:17
Hey there, Missileface, with your back against the wall Hey there, Triggerfinger, sitting on the floor I've seen just how you make your people look small I've seen your militaries crashing through their walls Your trigger finger will leave none to linger So kill them all Your indecision will be your religion So kill them all You know I've watched you casting shadows on the tall I wonder how you think you're never going to fall Tearing nations down, leaving nothing left at all Raping mother nature 'til you've rubbed her raw Your trigger finger will leave none to linger So kill them all Your indecision will be your religion So kill them all Warlords Your trigger finger will leave none to linger So kill them all Your indecision will be your religion So kill them all Hey there, Missileface, you never listened to a thing I said Now your time has come and you're all going to be dead

Everyone's walking away Walking away from the real Everyone's nervous today Worried about the next meal Last of species Nothing more to say Last of species Leaving the world today Everyone's playing their hand Believing their lies on command Everyone's taking a loss That's greater than their cost

Eben Byers 04:58
Eben Byers is in a lead-lined casket Eben died from drinking too much of that shit He was hoping for a miracle cure But all he ended up with was holes in his skull He was a man of industry But he made his name as an athlete What could bring a man like that down? Lies and greed and money and power And I don't know where I went wrong And I don't really care The people on the T.V. say so much shit today Nothing's real out there Eben Byers was in a really bad way Drinking his radium everyday He was hoping for a miracle cure But all he ended up with was holes in his skull Eben's cure was his belief Manifested by a common thief He was fully unaware of this Some might say it's god's justice
6.
There is no outcome beyond death The battle was lost before it began Man's hunger for power will forever be We will all return to the nothing from where we came I watched the stars fade out It seems much further now A faded planet far Orbits a dying star You never listened to me You never really were free You never listened to me Embracing insanity The roads through life were long You followed sirens' songs Leading your kind to death And now you've drawn your last breath The king of holy vows Until the mercy ran out You never listened to me You never really were free You never listened to me Now all you have's what you see
7.
Mass confusion. Vacant Stares. This illusion - fueled by fear. No place to run this time and no one really cares Ruled by shadows and going nowhere People say I've changed But what's the point of staying the same When the world we live in crashes down on us again Listen to me Take a stand and see Total revolution Such a simple solution Through the mountains. Coming down. Bed of daisies - empty town. Never a single thought of what might happen next Frightened children - so perplexed.
8.
Bring out your nickels, dollars, dimes Keep those hands in pockets - we ain't got much time If you're going to try and buy your way to any type of heaven Keep those hands in pockets 'til the end of time When they pass that golden plate around Pass it up and pass it on back down You'd better give your money's worth to everyone who's in that church Cos god ain't free for what it's worth
9.
See them walking on down the street Slack-jawed with their heads to their feet They think nothing of what's to come Destitute with a new telephone They see nothing with their sunken eyes Had to kiss ass just to stay alive Nothing stops the march of the damned In a handbasket walking hand-in-hand We've got a long way to go now But not before the rope runs out And though you're not in control now You'll find a reason to bow down Tiny toys keeping track of everything Their friends, their lives, their wives, and all those silly things What's a life that you never live? What's your worth with nothing to give? Clinging on to old glories of the past Lifestyles that you know could never last What drives a man to be so naive? You think you're caesar but you're just a nameless slave Obey your orders Frontiers without borders
10.
Our lives march on While theirs are gone When we saw them Our eyes felt it I can't ask why Life stumbled and they died Who knows when how This stops consuming us now Where were you when the axe fell Bringing up to earth a fiery hell When were you when time froze Why lord - only he knows Where were you when the axe fell 33 dead and gone and on and on It goes again and again Early morning, barely dawn Barely dew or sunshine on Then the fear game began Veiled in cowardice again Why it happens I don't know Every year in many homes Everyday and every night Why oh why do we even try When I think of every life Cut short by evil's knife Disillusioned diplomat With those teary eyes and warm regret Those days they'll never have Those laughs they'll never laugh How I wish that I could've known Cos I would've traded my life for their own Where were you when the axe fell Bringing up to earth a fiery hell When were you when time froze Why lord - only he knows Where were you when the axe fell 33 dead and gone and on and on It goes again and again We've got the fire of a hope in our eyes We've got our hands on a vision and peace is the prize

about

Eleven tracks were recorded from July 2010 to May 2012 at Red Crown Audio in New Salem, Pennsylvania. Nick Tiberi engineered the sessions and a myriad of players participated in the tracking of the album - some of them included Stephen Peck (Lonely Ghost Parade), Dave Tiberi (The Leafs), and Jason Cursi (Abacus Jones). The final mixes for God's Justice were completed on May 22, 2012.

During the creation of this album, I intentionally never thought of it as a product or a commercial endeavor; I wanted to be certain I was creating the best, most unadulterated work I could muster without fear of meeting expectations or fitting into a specific area of music. Because of that, the final product is extremely eclectic and, after spending almost two years on this release, I can truly say it is a milestone album for me. Both Nick Tiberi and myself invested many hours on this project and are immensely proud of the final product. We hope you have as much fun listening to God's Justice as we did creating it!
